Physics is for the Dogs

This is my puppy, Ka La, he is about 3 months old and this is my chocolate lab, Kona.

The interesting thing about my dogs is he can hear certain sound waves that me and my parents can't hear. For example, they can hear when my aunty is coming down the street. Their ears will perk up about ten or more seconds before the actually sound waves of my aunty's motorcycle or truck hits/registers through our ears. I thought this was a pretty interesting study/observation to compare how dogs can hear a much higher pitch then we humans can hear.
