Take ME Back...Take me back...back to...Molokai

OMG Senior camp SOOOOO much fun, yet so exhausted. Any ways there was some good physics going on ;). Although, the best observation I made was when we could see the lights and the light shadows of Honolulu. I was totally amazed at how the light was able to reflect off the clouds and create this billow of light and yellowish haze. It was unfortunate that I was not able to get a picture of this extraordinary because it was so far away and came out blurry. I thought that this is a perfect example of refelction. Dr. Lee told us that it was light pollution that allowed the light to reflect off the clouds and stay in the atmosphere because of the pollution. It was amazing all we could see was the outline of Diamond Head and the east coast all in yellow haze. It was sweet...To bad couldn't get a picture but here is some other pictures which relate the chapter we just finished on color. ALRIGHT!

i wonder what kind of physics is involved in swimming into the deep, dark ocean to clean out our bathing suits.
